A Round is a beer tasting at a small table, up to six, at an NYC beer spot we've picked. Your first half pour is your call, the table picks two more together, and each pour comes with a question for the table - so the conversation always has somewhere to go, and nobody has to run the evening. Good beer, good company, about 90 minutes.

- Good company is built in.Everyone at the table booked a seat at the same tasting, so the conversation starts a few steps ahead: what did you order, what do you think, what's next. You'll see who's at your table the day before.
- A plan for the night, so nobody has to run it.We pick the spot. Your first half pour is your call when you arrive, then the table picks two more together, one trip to the bar each. Tasting, reacting and comparing is the easy way in, and the app keeps the plan moving.
- You'll know what to say.When the beer talk runs out, the app hands the table a question about each other, not about hops. Use them when you want, skip them when you don't. Here's a taste of what to expect:

- Curiosity is the only prerequisite.If you can name every hop variety, great. If you're still working out what you like, this is a good place to find out. Three half pours, picked together, is the easiest way to try something new.
It's a tasting, not a setup - where it goes after is up to you. Up to six to a table, and everyone at yours came for the same reason.
You like beer, or you'd like to like it more. You'd rather try three new pours with people than one on your own. Maybe you're new to the city, maybe you've been here for years and your usual crowd doesn't do Tuesdays. You prefer one conversation that goes somewhere over five that stay surface-level. This is for the curious, and for anyone who thinks good beer is better in good company.
Do I need the app to come?
No - book on this page and show up. The app is where your table and tablemates are revealed the day before, and where the table picks its pours, so it makes the evening better. If you have it, the link in your confirmation email opens your seat in the app and connects it to your account.
Who will be at my table?
Up to six people who booked the same date and venue. We seat tables a day ahead, and you see who is at yours in the app the day before.
What does the $15 cover?
Your seat and the format: the table, the two pours the table picks together, the prompts in the app, and the recap. Drinks are bought at the bar as you go - three half pours over the night, and what you drink is up to you.
What if I can't make it?
Fully refundable up to 48 hours before your Round - reply to your confirmation email. Inside 48 hours the seat is yours - by then we are setting the tables.
Do I need to know a lot about beer?
Not at all. Your first pour is your call, the table picks the next two together, and nobody orders alone. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.
Can I come every week?
Yes. Every Tuesday is a new table, and seats are first come, first served. Book whichever Tuesdays work for you.
Can I come with a friend?
Yes - book two seats on the same date and venue and reply to your confirmation so we seat you together. Most people come on their own.
